Charterer (Dry Bulk)

*Seeking for a Charterer with minimum 4 years of hands-on Chartering exposure in dry bulk, able to deal with voyage calculations, experience in voyage charter marketing and exposure to the Supramax market*

Focused on their product offerings, this company has grown rapidly. Currently, they seek for Charterer to assist them in their Operations team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle chartering activities
• Recommend logistics plans and come out with freight procurement and shipping strategies
• Be knowledgeable on market trends and analyze freight markets
• Plan for voyages
• Minimize risk exposures (e.g. market, security risk, counterparty exposure etc)
• Work closely with Operations, Trade Finance, Finance and other relevant departments

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree Holder (Shipping, Maritime, Trade, Business, Economics, Logistics, International Finance) or any other relevant educations
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Chartering exposure in dry bulk
• Able to deal with voyage calculations with experience in voyage charter marketing
• Hands on experience in the Supramax market
• Highly organized, meticulous, team player, has good interpersonal and communication skills
